Texture Lead

Software: Unreal, Substance Painter, After Effects, Media Encoder

​As part of this particular project, I was able to work with Unreal Engine to create something that can be shown in an XR environment. Currently, it is used to promote and recruit for SCAD in Savannah. Working with so many different artists was an absolute pleasure. I was a texturing lead, so I got the opportunity to show a lot of different techniques to people who are just starting out in software such as substance painter. It was the intention to create the look of a magical forest, so those creatures below are supposed to look really magical. We have a large creature in the background that is supposed to be non-threatening. There is also this hero tree, which initially has a focus on it. Additionally, I was able to create a smart material that I distributed to the rest of my team, allowing them to create rocks with moss on them efficiently, speeding up the texturing of background assets
